What we do

Street Pastors

Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, started in 2003, to engage with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue and reduce problems. Melton Mowbray's team got started at the end of 2008 as an initiative of Melton Mowbray Churches Together. We are pleased to be a Christian presence on the streets on Friday nights and once a month on Saturday night.

We have a prayer duo to support the street pastors when they are on duty, who pray for the situations and people the pastors encounter.

If you want to know more please call David Coxhead on 01664 668158 or speak to one of the team from St Mary’s: Valerie Ball, Tim Clark, Doreen Devoto, Carol Ellis, Chris Frost, Ted Hutchin, Andrew Nutter, Linda Pearson or Jacqui Wilson.
