Pram
club is a meeting place for parents, grandparents and carers of
preschool children. On a Monday morning an average of 40 adults
and up to 60 children meet in the Colles Hall.

Revd.
Canon Phil Groves leads a story and other people lead songs but the
group quickly moves into a time of chatting and playing. Lots of toys
are brought out for the children and as parents, grandparents and
carers natter over coffee and biscuits the children flit from one
thing to another. They can take part in simple crafts and play with
playdough and before you know it is 11.30am and time to clear up. |

Pram
Club is fun, but it is also a place for parents and grandparents to
give and receive advice from one another and from the helpers. It
relieves isolation and boredom and builds friendship and community.
Three times a year there are services in church, celebrating major
festivals in a manner which enables the very young to understand and
join in. |
