About Us

Join the team

The Congregational Contact Team is a group of people from St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, who each have a list of people from the congregation who they try to keep in touch with. This is mainly done by looking out for them in church services.

Each person in the congregation is given a card that explains a little about how the scheme works and also a contact number for the person whose list they are on. This forms part of our pastoral network so that anyone in need does not go unnoticed.

The scheme is generally successful, although sometimes people 'fall through the net' and are unintentionally overlooked at a time of need. As we endeavour to improve, it would be helpful to have more list holders so that each one can have fewer people to care for. If you feel you would like to be part of the team please contact Jacqui Wilson (566286) or Jill Milner (569496).
