The happy couple: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Celebrate Royal day with us!

HERE'S your chance to dress as a Prince or a Princess to help us celebrate the Royal Wedding on Saturday, May 19th.

We'll be showing the special occasion LIVE on the big screen in St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, from 11am until 1.45pm. And we're inviting those people who come along to dress to impress on the day.

The church will be decorated to mark the special occasion and there will be a chance to have your picture taken with a life-sized cut-out of the Royal couple in our special photo booth. So don't forget your camera or mobile phone to take your photograph. We'll also have an alternative Royal bouquet to add to your pictures... and then there'll be chance for on lucky person to catch, and keep, the bouquet.

Plus there will be the chance to make crowns and to decorate Royal biscuits and to sample our alternative wedding cake which is being made by Marie Styles. There will also be chance to add to our Parish Patchwork. Please feel free to bring along your own material to sew a square to add to the patchwork.

Refreshments will be served during the morning and any donations of cakes or nibbles would be greatly appreciated. If you wish to make a donation please contact either Marilyn Wray on 01664 565608 or Karen Balding on 01664 564227.
