Walking back to happiness!

More than 30 people braved the scorching sun to take part in this year's Melton Mowbray Team Parish Plod on Sunday, (July 15th), at Freeby.

Before the walk those who wished to were able to look round St Mary's Church in the village before taking in some beautiful scenery in the surrounding countryside. Congratulations to everyone for completing the walk even though some people struggled in the heat.

Special thanks must go to Brian and Marilyn Wray for organising the three mile walk and to the ladies at Freeby for the wonderful afternoon tea they supplied afterwards in the village hall.

Pictures by Brian Wray and Phil Balding.
