*Marie Styles proudly shows off the bread she made for the Harvest Festival Service in St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, on Sunday (September 23rd). She had a bit of help from members of St Mary's Church Tiny Tots Group when they met last week.
Tins, packets or fresh produce donated at the service will be distributed to the needy young people and families at Myst Lodge in Melton.

Family Harvest Festival Services

The Team Parish of Melton Mowbray invites you to join us at any of the following Family Harvest Festival Services in our churches during September and October:

Monday, September 24th
St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray

Pram Club Harvest Festival Service with refreshments after the service in the Samworth Centre. Any Harvest food donations - tins or packets - will be gratefully received and passed on to Storehouse.

Saturday, October 6th
St Mary the Virgin Church, Thorpe Arnold Harvest Supper. 6:30pm in the Village Hall.
Sausage and mash followed by a selection of desserts. To book: 01664 850422 or c.a.shenton@ntlworld.com (no charge but donations welcome).

Sunday, October 7th
9.45am: St Mary the Virgin Church, Thorpe Arnold

Please bring gifts for Storehouse and Forage Aid. Non perishable items will be given to Storehouse and perishable items will be auctioned in aid of Forage Aid.
Forage Aid is the charity that supports farmers whose livestock has been affected by an extreme weather by providing forage and/or bedding to those in need.
Storehouse offers food, clothing, bedding, baby equipment and other household items to those living in the borough of Melton who are in need and who have been referred by one of the local agencies.

6.30pm: St Mary’s Church, Freeby.
