Work is looking good

Progress Report on St James' Church Development Project, Burton Lazars

We have been very blessed by our latest Community fundraising events and so, as we near the completion of the project, we find ourselves only £63 short! That's always assuming we don't find any more problems, writes Jenny Pengelly.
So the work: The pictures show that the toilet is complete except for a door! The kitchen is coming along well.
The vestry/meeting room is looking very inviting, unfortunately there is still a lot of chaos in the nave but that's only to be expected at this stage. However, the lights in the Nave and  Chancel, in particular, are really great.
Visiting on Monday (19th November) we had to turn the thermostat down on one of the radiators it was so warm, and to our delight and not inconsiderable relief the blown air heating was very quiet!
