Harold dies aged 100

It is with great sadness that we report the death of St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, stalwart Harold Veazey.

Harold, who celebrated his 100th birthday on September 27th last year, died in Rutland Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 20th. His funeral service will be held in St Mary's Church at 11am on Friday, February 8th.
