What we do

Happy holidays!

Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! Yes, it's that time of year, so get out your knotted hanky and your buckets and spades and head down to St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, on Saturday, July 13th.

For that's when the next activities morning takes place, from 10.30am to 12 noon, with the theme Happy Holidays.

There will be plenty for children and adults alike to do including taking part in our super sandcastle making competition, donkey races, face-painting, our usual quiz, story telling, tin can alley, hook a duck, candy floss, quoits, our giant games, plus our usual arts and crafts, chance to make your own "jellyfish" and seahorse magnets, and the chance to have your picture taken in our seaside photo booth (pictured above).

There will also be chance to take a trip up the church tower at 10.35am prompt (weather permitting), postcards to colour in, our usual book swap, chance to learn to play chess, chance to enjoy an ice cream and Hattie the clown will be along to make giant bubbles.
The morning finishes with a short act of worship at 11.45am.

There will also be chance to enjoy tea, coffee or juice and cake, to sit and read the day's newspapers or to just sit and chat.
Everyone is welcome and all our activities mornings are FREE of charge.
