About Us

New assistant warden

It is with great delight that we are able to announce that Marion Gumbrill has accepted our invitation to be an Assistant Warden at St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray.

St Mary’s DCC has approved the appointment and it has been ratified by the members of the PCC.

Marion has been helping us with actual services, to get to know the ropes, and will be taking on responsibilities from the new year. She will have special responsibility for the welcoming rota, when we are able to re-open St Mary’s Church to visitors.
She will be an excellent addition to the team and we are sure that our congregation will support her in this important post.

Brenda & Ian,

Churchwardens at St Mary's Church.
