TWEELights, camera, action... yes, this year's Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, is fast approaching and it's going to be a real cracker! Months and months of hard work and planning have gone into this year's event to be held in the beautiful Grade 1 Listed building from Friday, November 30th until Tuesday, December 4th. A two-year-old English Springer Spaniel named Pippa proved the star of the show at the latest activities morning in St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, on Saturday (November 17th).

Bells rang out three times on Remembrance Sunday in St Mary the Virgin Church, Thorpe Arnold.
It was a Remembrance Sunday like no other. A day of mixed emotions. Poignant and moving. A day we will NEVER forget.
The next meeting of the Melton Mowbray Team Parish Men's Group will be on Wednesday, November 21st, at 7pm with an evening of Kurling at Thorpe Arnold Village Hall.
