Xpress

Xpress is a wonderful enrichment programme for children of primary school age (Key stages 1 & 2). The aim of the group is to help the children express their relationship with Jesus through songs, games, bible teaching, prayers & crafts. Xpress is held either directly after the Ten O'Clock Praise service in the Samworth Centre, or when there is no Ten O'Clock Praise, families meet in St. Mary's for the first 10 minutes or so of service with the rest of the church family, then the children depart for Xpress with Xpress leaders. Parents can feel free to stay in the service or accompany their children. We will then meet back at St. Mary's at the end of the service for parents to enjoy refreshments with their children.
Any queries please contact Dave & Alison Kitching 01664 560522.

Holiday Club

This year’s Melton Mowbray Team Parish Holiday Club will take place from August 6th to the 10th in St Mary's Church and will be based around a circus theme to include craft activities, games and some bible-based teaching.
We need people to help us in leading small groups, helping run the activities, supervising the door, possibly helping to run a creche for younger children, singing, dancing, decorating the church in a circus theme or just lending moral support.
It would be useful for us to know who can help so that we can start planning the day to day organisation of the week.
