What we do

Churches Together In Melton Mowbray

Churches TogetherWe are part of the wider church in Melton Mowbray working in partnership with the other Christian Churches through Churches Together.  We co-host events throughout the year warmly inviting everyone to join in.

Some of our events are annual, and some ad hoc.   When the good weather is upon us, we come together for Praise in the Park with an ecumenical service in the Melton Park followed by a barbeque.  On Good Friday, we share the story of the Passion in centre of Melton Mowbray.   During One World Week each year, we share an evening meal.

Churches Together in Melton Mowbray comprises Sage Cross and Sandy Lane Methodist Churches; St. Peter and St. John Roman Catholic Churches; the Anglican Melton Mowbray team Ministry; Melton Mowbray United Reformed Church; Melton Mowbray Baptist Church; Vineyard Evangelical Free Church. The Polish Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Lane, currently has observer status.
