St. Mary's C of E Parish Church

The picture of success

Another day and we're back on the picture trail again. Here are some more pictures taken by website editor Phil Balding throughout the day on Sunday (December 2nd) during the Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray.

One man who entered into the Christmas spirit today was Ian Hutty from Sheldon in Birmingham who is pictured.
Ian was celebrating his birthday today and what better place to bring his family than the Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray?
"We've been coming for a good many years now. We just love it," said Ian.
If you haven't been to see the trees yet, you have a real treat in store. But don't take our word for it... come on down and see for yourself!

We had a real treat during the morning when we were entertained by some Victorian dancers outside the church, see picture below, and then our friends from the New St George Morris dancers both outside the church and inside it.
